West Midlands Safari Park

Saturday, 27 October 2007 09:02 by Admin

Before I realised it was afternoon and I was to go to The West Midlands Safari Park. It was a free trip from school for my whole family. We were traveling there by a coach. So we got out of our house to get to the school which is where the coach was.

About 45mins later we were there in the Safari park! But first we went to eat something because we were starving after the bus trip. We went to eat to a place called PIZZA! I had southern fried chicken and chips. Then after that I went to have a look around the place. First we went to THE DISCOVERY PLACE then we went to the SEA LION SHOW! I can tell you that he is interligent!! Then we went to see the ELLUMINATION! It was so Fantastic. As we walked through the path, we noticed a very horrible SMELL! We look to our left and saw a huge Hipappotamus. I think that was where the smell was coming from. We walked as fast as we could away from the smell! Then we saw lots of swans and on the other side there was lots of rides like The Big Water slide, Twister and lots more! Then we came across a Bumper car place! My brother wanted to go on it so my dad and my brother went on the bumper car while me and my mum watched.

We had catch the coach so we could get back home! But there was a problem, we didn't know the way out. About 30mins later we found the exit. On the way we went across a shop. My dad bought me a tiger bear and a tiger printed pen! He also brought my brother a toy bus! When we finally got in the coach and before we knew we were home!

The amazing Seal Life Centre

Sunday, 9 September 2007 23:27 by hafa

Me and my family always wanted to go to sea life centre so we could see all the fishes. So we did.

On a Friday summer morning we went set off to Sea Life Centre. Not that long and we were there. While we waited to get our tickets, someone came and he was dressed like a turtle. He was very funny. So my dad asked him if he could take a picture with me! The turtle grabbed my hand and pulled me to him. Then me and the turtle possed for a picture. He kept covering my face so he would be the only one seen in the picture. I kept taking his hand off but he kept putting it on my face.

After we got the tickets we went to the place where baby sharks were. There were lots of them and they were great to look at. Then we went to the jelly fish zone. There were tiny jelly fishes that looked like spiders and there were other jelly fishes that were huge. Then we went to the sea horse bay. There were lots of sea horses but they were tiny. I could nearly see them. Next was the New Amazonia. It was like a colourfull rainforest and it had a fish pool. There were amazing fishes. There were stingrays who's body was black and had white dots on them and others were cream colour and had brown dots on them.

Then we went to the Save the Turtles part of the sea life centre. There was a lift and we had to press 0. Then it stopped. The lift door opened. We could only go one way or else it would take a long time so we decide to go to the under world tunnel. It was a tunnel and all the fishes were right above us. There were turtles which were nearly as big as me! The tunnel led us to a place called the lost city! We went in and there was a maze not a ordainary maze. There were mirrows we couldn't see them. At first I didn't know there were mirrows so I bumped into one. It was really really tricky. I could see my dad on the right and on the left because of the mirrow. I didn't know where I was. We all met at the end of the maze! We all were happy to know that everyone is here.We found the way out sign and we went out.

It was the end of the tour so we headed back home. We caught the bus and we were home before night fall. I had a fantastic time so why don't you go to the Sea Life Centre.

My day out at Spectrum

Friday, 10 August 2007 09:06 by hafa

I did lots of things in Guildford and one of them was going to spetrum.

One friday afternoon, we went out in search of spetrum the icon for children entertainment in Guildford, Surrey. We got on to bus number 27 changed at town centre for bus number 100 which headed straight into spetrum and reached there in less then 30 minutes. The place appeared huge from outside and i was thrilled to go in and see what is in there for us. First we went to speacky's pirate ship in spetrum. Fortunatly this pirate ship wasn't running in the sea and there were no pirates on board. Instead there were lots of other things to do. There were trampolines, ball pits, slides, tunnels and many other stuff to do. Before i even realised i spent 90 minutes inside.

I was hungry and tired too.So i convised my dad and my little brother and saud be and Yooh to go to burger king. I enjoyed my food but above all i enjoyed the free toy they offered. By the time we finished they were ready to close and we left.

My long trip to Guildford

Wednesday, 1 August 2007 08:55 by hafa

It was the school holidays. But it wasn't a good start because of the non-stop rain and we were getting ready to go to Guildford. So we called a taxi and went to the trainstation to catch a rain. Everything was going well until we heard that the train had been cancelled because of the floodings in the railway.

My dad went to the customer service and they said 'there is a way you could get to guildford. If we take a train and stop to wolwerhampton, from there you could get a train to Clapham Junction and from there you could get the train to Guildford. So me and my family agreed to go. We looked at the train times and so that our train to Wolverhamton was leaving in 3 minutes so we ran and ran and got on the train just in time. When we were in the train it started slowing down a bit. Then it stopped. We had to get to Clapham Junction in just 2 minutes or else we will miss the train! Thankfully the train started to drive again. When the train stopped at Clapham Junction, we rushed out of the train got on to the train to Guildford from Clapham Junction. With seconds to spare the train drove on its way to Guildford. After an hour we were in Guildford and me and my family agreed never to go on three trains altogether ever again.
